SAFETY DATA: Non-toxic, non-sensitizing, non-irritating. As with all essential oils, never use undiluted, in eyes or on mucus membranes, do not ingest.

AROMA: Sweet-spicy, warming fragrance and a woody-balsamic undertone.
DESCRIPTION: A perennial, reed-like herb up to 4 meters high, with long, silky blade-shaped leaves. Its long sheathing stems bear small yellowish flowers with purple tips, followed by oblong red-brown seeds.
BLENDS WELL WITH: Bay, bergamot, black pepper, caraway, cedarwood, cinnamon, cloves, coriander, fennel, ginger, jasmine, lemongrass, litsea cubeba, palmarosa, patchouli, petitgrain, sandalwood, vetiver, ylang ylang
CHARACTERISTICS: A colorless to pale yellow liquid
PRINCIPAL CONSTITUENTS: Terpinyl acetate and cineol (each my be present at up to 50%), limonene, sabinene, linalool, linalyl acetate, pinene, zingiberene, among others.
