NEW PRODUCT!!! Manufactured by FreshJagua this is ground, dried powder from the Jagua fruit.

Mix it into a paste following a water-based henna recipe and use immediately or store in the freezer.

The stains last 1-3 weeks and start out very light and darken to a deep indigo blue over 24-72 hours. It is completely natural and chemical free! The unripe Jagua fruit juice naturally stains dark blue, similar to how the henna plant stains reddish-brown.

Jagua fruit is also used as a food source.

Mix Jagua Powder with water, lavender oil and sugar.
Create deep dark indigo blue stains with safe natural Jagua Fruit Juice Dye.

Allergies:
Avoid Jagua products if you have allergies to tropical fruits like pineapple, kiwi, strawberry, pineapple, or papaya, Jagua is made from the juice of the unripe tropical fruit tree Genipa Americana.
Jagua has a slightly higher allergy rate than henna, we suggest a small patch test 2 weeks before large applications to ensure you aren’t allergic.

Storage:
Store paste at room temperature for about 30 days before the stain quality is affected.
For optimal results store in the freezer for up to 1 year. Squeeze all the air out to avoid ice crystals forming.
Defrost at room temperature for 30 minutes before use.
Jagua may be frozen and defrosted repeatedly without severely impacting the stain.

Warnings and Safety Information as per manufacturer FreshJagua
IS JAGUA REALLY SAFE?
*Jagua is very new to the western world and we all still learning Jagua! Although Jagua is a natural food product and has been used for thousands of years as part of their daily routine and not only for nutritional purposes and skin dye, but for herbal healing as well. It is possible to have an allergic reaction to any foreign substance applied to the skin. We encourage people with sensitive skin, before applying a full sized Jagua Temporary Tattoo to test a small patch by applying a small dot of Jagua behind the ear to test your sensitivity to Jagua.
We have sold thousands of Jagua temporary tattoo products and provide it as a service at our shop and have only a few cases of allergic reactions each year. An allergic reaction to Jagua will appear as a dense rash of hard red bumps and may look similar to the allergic reations caused by PPD or Black Henna. Unlike PPD or Black Henna, an allergic reaction to Jagua will not create a lasting scar. This rash can be treated like any other allergic rash with the application of anti-itch cream and/or Cortizone. Before treating any allergic reaction, it is essential to consult your health care professional!
We speculate that there is a connection between high alcohol/drugs levels and how the body reacts to Jagua.
It is not wise to expose heat in any form to a fresh applied Jagua tattoo in the first 48 hour of the tattoo development or painful scarring will occur.
*Warning -The safety of this product has not been determined.
