A fresh, medicinal, heavy lemon aroma. Add a few drops to your 'terp' oil for a custom scented henna paste.

NAME: Lemon Eucalyptus
SPECIES: Eucalyptus citriodora Hook

SAFETY DATA: Non-toxic, non-irritant, possible sensitization in some individuals. Toxic when taken internally. Avoid during pregnancy, As with all essential oils, never use undiluted, in eyes or on mucous membranes, do not ingest.

AROMA: Fresh, medicinal, heavy lemon aroma. Has a potent bright citronella-like aroma. The sweet balsamic-floral low notes last for days on the dry blotter. Lemon Eucalyptus is a great source for natural citronellal.

DESCRIPTION: An attractive, tall, evergreen tree with a smooth dimpled bark, blotched in grey, cream and pink, cultivated as an ornamental. The trunk grows fast, straight and to considerable height, and is used for timber. The young leaves are oval, the mature leaves narrow and tapering.

BLENDS WELL WITH: Basil, black pepper, cedarwood, clary sage, clove, cypress, eucalyptus, frankincense, geranium, ginger, juniper, lavender, marjoram, orange, peppermint, pine, ravensara, rosemary, sage, tea tree, thyme, vetiver, ylang ylang

PRINCIPAL CONSTITUENTS: Citronellal (80-95%), citronellol, geraniol and pinene, among others.

Scent your own custom essential oil blend by adding a few drops of Lemon Eucalyptus Essential to your main 'terp' (Cajeput, Tea Tree, Niaouli, Lavender) essential oil.
