Handmade felted soap is colorful and fragrant. Each bar has a soft wool washcloth built into it creating a pleasant cleansing and gentle exfoliating experience that you can enjoy every day.
Felted soap lasts several times longer than unfelted soap. The wool contains the soap that would otherwise end up down the drain or in a soap dish puddle. When the soap is gone, you are left with a small pouch that can be used in a variety of clever ways.
It is handmade in Maine in small batches with all natural earth and animal friendly ingredients. It is scented with only pure 100% essential oils. Once made, the soap is milled and shaped by hand. After it fully cures, it is felted with natural wool known as “roving.”
Felted soaps make a unique and surprising gift and are a perfect party favor. The round bar fits perfectly in the toe of a Christmas stocking, makes a great Hanukkah present, adds color and texture to your wedding table setting, looks at home in an Easter basket or with a bouquet of flowers.
