Create soft and subtle sun-kisses lasting 2-5 days

Natural henna is one of the worlds oldest cosmetics and it's having a bit of a contemporary resurgence with temporary freckles! The stain will gently fade away over a few days.

Begin with clean, dry skin and natural henna paste.

Apply tiny dots of natural henna paste across the bridge of the nose and cheeks for a natural sun-kissed freckly look. Vary the size of the dot for a natural look.

Keep the henna paste on the skin as long as possible. 2-8 hours is recommended. The longer the henna paste can soak on the skin the richer the stain will be and the longer it will last.

Try sleeping with your little henna paste freckles on for good saturation.

After 2-8 hours gently pick off the henna paste. The stain will be very light and will oxidize and darken over the next 1-2 days.

Store fresh henna paste in the freezer for about 6 months. Defrost at room temperature for 15 minutes before use.  The henna paste is in perfect condition for 1-3 freeze/defrost cycles. After that you may notice the dye isn't as powerful as it slowly demises.

safety warnings

ALL imported premixed henna paste is toxic and should NEVER be used. Once mixed fresh henna goes bad after a few days so synthetic chemical and commercial dyes are added - none of which are legal or safe for skin application. PLEASE, do not use any imported henna paste, ever. It's just not worth the risk. Rashes, open sores, scars, bladder & kidney cancer, elevated rates of lymphoma etc. are frequent with these synthetic products.

If it was a paste imported from India and purchased off a store shelf, amazon or ebay it's a synthetic and toxic. DO NOT USE

The delicate skin on the face can be pretty sensitive, we suggest using only a natural henna paste made with lavender essential oil, sugar and lemon or water.
