Desert Caravan is Henna Caravan's signature USDA Organic Tea Tree essential oil blend, crafted to produce excellent henna stains reliably and to be a pleasant scent for professionals. To achieve the darkest, most reliable henna stains, use quality essential oils high in mono-terpene alcohols, or ‘terps’. Essential oils are the secret to rich, dark stains even on the hardest to stain parts of the body like backs and bellies.
If you haven't used a premium terp before, you will amazed at what happens with your henna paste. Henna Caravan uses only the highest quality of pure, 100% natural essential oils. We have chosen our variety of essential oil ‘terps’ carefully based on their chemical makeup and ability to produce optimal results safely and without irritation. AROMA: Shares properties with Tea Tree and Eucalyptus in chemistry and aroma but has a lighter smell that is slightly sweet, mildly fruity and medicinal.
DESCRIPTION: A small tree or shrub, with needlelike leaves similar to cypress, with heads of sessile yellow or purplish flowers. Closely related to other members of the Melaleuca group, notably Eucalyptus, Niaouli and Cajeput.
BLENDS WELL WITH: Basil, Bergamot, Black Pepper, Chamomile German, Clary Sage, Clove, Cypress, Eucalyptus, Geranium, Juniper, Lavender, Marjoram, Nutmeg, Oakmoss, Oregano, Peppermint, Pine, Ravensara, Rosemary, Thyme, Ylang Ylang
CHARACTERISTICS: A pale yellowy-green or water-white liquid with a strong, warm, fresh, spicy-camphoraceous odor.
PRINCIPAL CONSTITUENTS: Terpinene-4-ol (up to 30%, cineol, pinene, terpenes, cymene, sesquiterpene alcohols, among others.
For the darkest henna stains, naturally and safely, combine Henna powder, Desert Caravan Essential Oil Blend, Lemon Juice and Sugar.
